Guess what?!?!? I finally got a teaching job!! I will be the afternoon kindergarten teacher at Baldwin Primary Center!! It is only a half day, but I think that it is the perfect step in the right direction. Who knows...it could become all day next year!!
Everything happened so fast. I was called at 8:00 am on Friday, Interviewed at 10:00, and was hired by 12:00!!! How crazy is that?? There are still a lot of unanswered questions, but hopefully I will figure it all out this week!! I start Monday and my kiddos start Thursday!! I am so excited and really think everything is falling into place like it should! Life is so great :P
Hello! This is a blog that I can share photos and updates on what is going on in my life with friends and family and whoever else is searching the web!

Still Waiting...
So...It has been a couple of weeks since I last posted anything. Unfortunately, there is still nothing to report. I don't have a classroom and as far as I know, there is no real sign that we're preggers. It has been an uneventful couple of weeks.
We did make it to the Douglas County Fair for our annual dinner. Pork burgers and fresh squeezed lemonade! We topped this year off with a funnel cake and Dr. Pepper. We were stuffed. We also like to walk around and check out all the projects and animals. However, each year it becomes more depressing. So few crafts are entered. Tyler is always disappointed with the small corner of wood-work projects. None the less, the kiddos had some really good work. I really enjoyed their photography.
I have been staying hopeful however. I started to label my classroom library and started to refinish my "teachers" chair. I want to be ready in the event that I get a classroom last minute. I still have substituting though. I few districts have put me on their list. I should be busy this year no matter what happens!!
